OCR: RULES COURSE #2 U.S. G . A. & THE FOLLOWING LOCAL RULES GOVERN ALL PLAY FLOOD CONTROL CHANNEL : Ball May be dropped within two club lengths, no nearer the hole, at point of entry, or replayed as near as possible to point from where stroke was originally played. Ball coming to rest on opposite side of channel is considered to be in channel. (BALL MAY NOT BE PLAYED FROM CHANNEL. ) Penalty one stroke. LAKES : Play all lakes as lateral water hazards (Rule 26) . Boundaries are defined by water's edge unless otherwise Marked. OUT OF BOUNDS : FENCES and Masonry walls bounding courses, paved cart path behind # 18. PROTECTIVE FENCES : A11 protective fences inside course are considered immovable obstructions (Rule 24 & 26). Hole #13 protective fence on left side of fairway, along channel is an immovable obstruction. ROADS & PATHS : Dirt-play ball as it lies. Paved roads and paths-ball may be dropped within one club length from nearest point of relief, not nearer the hole (rule 24). No penalty. STAKED TREES : When stakes interfere with the player's normal stance or swing, the ball May be lifted without penalty and dropped within one club length from stake, the ball must come to rest not nearer the hole. Interference with the line of play is not itself an obstruction (Rule 24) . DROP OUT AREA : On fairway #13, ball coming to rest in drainage ditch (defined by posts and concrete walls), ball May be dropped one club length from nearest point of relief no nearer hole. No penalty. Posts CL.JE and concrete walls are concidered immovable obstructions . AREAS OUTLINED GY WHITE CHALK LINES : Considered as ground under repair (Rule 25).
